Mr. & Mrs. Smith - Review

Of course they are now divorced but no one can question the chemistry between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in the movie Mr. & Mrs. Smith. It also happens to be the project that established the couple's relationship in real life and stands today as one of the best work done to date in both of their catalogues.

The 2005 American action comedy film directed by Doug Liman and written by Simon Kinberg opened on June 10, 2005 in the United States and Canada in 3,424 theaters. The film was an instant box office hit as it ranked at the top in it's opening weekend, accumulating over $50 million. Mr. and Mrs. Smith went on to gross over $186 million in North America and had a world wide total of approximately $479 million.

It was the highest grossing film for Brangelina at the time. With mixed to positive reviews from critics, Rotten Tomatoes gave the film a score of 59% based on 207 reviews, with an average score of 6/10 while IMDb gave it a score of 6.5/10. 12 years later, the film is still worth watching and or even repeating.
